Our brains help us to think about what we see with our eyes. When our eyes and brain team up together they gather clues about where we are, who is around, and what is happening. Thinking with our eyes isn’t about eye contact. It is about using our eyes to gather clues, figure out what’s happening, and show interest. In this video short, you’ll meet Science Guy Brad, a fun-loving social scientist, who pops in to give informative, engaging, and sometimes wacky tutorials. Two thinking-based lesson plans (thinksheets) are included to help students reflect, encourage discussions, and extend the learning. The first is designed for younger students who need more support thinking to understand the concepts. The second is for older students or when teaching more in depth about the concepts introduced in the videos.
