Unpack the latest tools & strategies while building community in-person
As a leader in social, emotional, and academic learning (SEAL) resources and training for more than 25 years, we’ve been honored to serve our community with multi-day, in-person conferences throughout the United States. Coming together face to face to learn with and from each other is what feeds our knowledge, improves our practice, and sustains our passion for supporting social learners from age four throughout mature adulthood.
The Social Thinking® Methodology is dynamic and adaptive to the needs of our learners, and Social Thinking also strives to respond to the needs and desires of our community of caregivers, speech-language pathologists, therapists, educators, parents, and other interventionists. Now, in addition to our highly acclaimed 2-day conferences, we offer smaller regional 1-day seminars.
Join expert speakers Michelle Garcia Winner, MA, CCC-SLP, and Dr. Pamela Crooke, PhD, CCC-SLP in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA for one day of in-person learning! This course is designed to hone one's expertise in understanding social learning systems as a way to create and implement practical lessons and supports. Building on the strengths of professional learning communities, small groups will discuss case studies based in individualized social learning needs. Goal writing, visual reflection tools, and measurement will also be discussed. Important: Our regional seminar venues are smaller and may sell out quickly.
