90-minute talk and Q&A with Pamela Crooke, PhD, CCC-SLP

  • Title: Embedding Practical Social Thinking Strategies into Inclusive Settings for All Social Learners
  • Description: Schools and academic settings—like society, in general—are made up of highly diverse micro-societies where students and teachers move between and among groups, share space together, and figure out what to do and say (or not do and say) to achieve their collective academic and social goals. In this talk, we’ll discuss ways to teach all students how to share space and focus on embedding lessons and metacognitive strategies from the Social Thinking Methodology across instructional tiers.

Who Should Attend

The Social Thinking Methodology is used by a wide variety of professionals, including speech-language pathologists, special and general education teachers, social workers, counselors, clinical and school psychologists, occupational therapists, behavior specialists, and school administrators to name a few. It’s also used by family members and caregivers across settings.
