Greater Boston Area (Norwood)
October 10 - 11, 2024
Join expert speakers Kari Zweber Palmer, MA, CCC-SLP, Michelle Garcia Winner, MA, CCC-SLP, and Jenny Sojat, MA, CCC-SLP, R-SLP in Greater Boston (Norwood) for two days of in-person learning from 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM! Along with the famous gourmet lunch provided by Four Points Sheraton in Norwood and your seat in the conference, we are bundling a free curriculum with your registration on each day ($49.99-$74.99 added value each day or $125 in free materials for both days).
Whether you’re teaching young learners or teens/tweens, these two days are packed with strategies across the ages for teaching social problem solving, understanding perspectives, goal-setting, rallying motivation, and self-regulation. Day 1 features lessons ideas from a brand new curriculum series focusing on social attention, interpretation, and problem solving. Piloted in both Tier 1 classrooms and small groups around the US, these interactive lessons are fun to teach and even more fun for students to learn. On Day 2 we are launching a BRAND NEW course with practical ideas for teaching executive functions, exploring social risk, mental time travel, social problem solving, and other concepts using storybooks, thinksheets (thinking lesson plans), and a new graphic novel for tweens, teens and young adults. The speakers are excellent and there will be plenty of teaching take-aways as well as time for discussion and reflection.
