What is Social Thinking
Stephanie Madrigal, M.A., CCC-SLP
Stephanie has worked as part of a clinical team with Michelle Garcia Winner and Social Thinking for over seven years. She is the author of the highly popular Superflex superhero curriculum. She is innovative in creating new materials for use in therapy and creating a warm and friendly rapport with her students and their families. Stephanie's role includes continued clinical and curriculum development. In January, 2008, her Superflex curriculum was released. Educators and parents have praised "the power of this cartoon character," that, when paired with the Social Thinking curriculum, teaches students to build their own heroic skills to overcome the thoughts before the actions that are causing them trouble. She received her bachelor's and her master's degrees in speech pathology from San Jose State University.
