Michelle Garcia Winner, M.A., CCC-SLP, founder of Social Thinking, will present the latest strategies to facilitate Social Thinking and related social skills for our adults. 2.5 hour presentation.
Learning Outcomes/Participants will be able to:
- Describe social emotional expectations of the adult neurotypical community
- Describe social paradigms (social psychology of adults) through which we interpret and respond to communicative interactions.
- Name and describe 3 treatment strategies to help clarify and respond to expectations of the adult work world.
- Describe the 2 challenges our adults face in a world surrounded by NT’s and how this information helps us to guide our treatments for children and adolescents.
