Highly interactive session in which participants will learn and explore ways to enhance Social Thinking through the incorporation of music, films, books, drama, games and more! This session is designed for those that are ready to think outside the box and stretch their imagination as they take away ideas to make Superflex their own. Please go to the Conference Session Selection menu if you'd like to attend.

Technology resources and movement activities are great facilitation tools that can be incorporated into a social thinking group. Yes, we (and you) will actually play and laugh as we take on the Unthinkables. We’ll give you creative ideas how you can flex Superflex using a multisensory approach.  This presentation will be a highly interactive session in which participants will learn and explore ways to enhance Social Thinking through the incorporation of music, films, books, drama, games and much, much more!

1. Participants will explore ways they can add more fun to their Superflex and Social Thinking sessions by incorporating music, films, books, drama, games and more.

2. Participants will learn how to structure their program in order to integrate a balance of speech and language, cognitive, sensory motor, and social thinking goals into each session. Therefore, the social thinking curriculum will improve the children’s learning and behavior as it emphasizes working with the whole child. The social thinking curriculum can be a collaborative effort between different subject areas.

3. Participants will be able to collaborate with other professionals to develop their own multi-sensory lesson plans for some of the Superflex Unthinkables.  Thus, they can make Superflex their own! This session is highly interactive.

One of three 60-minute sessions to choose from at this time slot. Go to Conference Session Selection to choose if attending.
