Who is Michelle’s work dedicated to?
A number of diagnostic labels represent persons with some aspects of social cognitive deficits, these labels may include:
- All Autism Spectrum Diagnosis (ASD): Asperger Syndrome (AS), Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) and Autism.
- Non-verbal Learning Disability (NLD)
- Attention Deficit Disorder, with or without hyperactivity (ADD, ADHD)
- Not all persons with the following diagnosis necessarily have social cognitive deficits, but a significant number do:
- Tourette’s Syndrome (not all persons with Tourette’s have social cognitive deficits, but many do)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder
- Emotionally Disturbed
